Bwyd / Food

In order to introduce our theme on food, children were asked to look in their food cupboards at home to try and find the most unusual food that they had. They were then asked to bring in the most unusual food they had at home in order for us to discuss and compare each one by guessing what they were, where they came from and if others in class had tasted and heard of the food before. Here is a picture of the most unusual food we found. Do you know what it is?

Gwneud Menyn / Making Butter

We made butter out of cream. Here is how we made it. First we put the cream in a jar.

IMG_5584

We then had to shake the jar until the cream turned into butter. It was hard work!!

IMG_5624

Time to put the butter on the bread.

Yum yum! Very tasty!
